Irving Penn

My focus today is on the late great American photographer named Irving Penn. For many years, he did fashion photography for Vogue magazine. During his time at Vogue he was known for "glamour photography. (His photographs appeared on over 150 covers in the last 50 years.) Penn was also known for his amazing photographs shot against simple white or gray backdrops. He had a way of making the subject pop. The result-amazing photographs. His images seem effortless and are absolutely timeless. He also focused on still life photos, which are filled with beauty and elegance. Irving Penn passed away at the age of 92 on October 7th, 2009. He was one of the 20th century's most influential photographers.

Erwin Olaf was born in 1959 in the Netherlands.
He is a controversial photographer with daring and provocative photos.
He mixes photojournalism with studio photography
Erwin is frequently shooting in commission for magazines such as The New York Times Magazine, The Sunday Times Magazine, Elle and Citizen K.
He has won countless awards and his photos are very captivating and quite intriguing.

My focus today is on a non black & white photographer. I came across some pretty unique photos by Romain Laurent. One of the most prominent creative photographers. He is a French photographer and very well known for his photos and advertising work. He can be put in two catergories if you think about it, creative photography and advertising photography. He is definitely a photographer that should be checked out his work is so amazing creative and just compelling.
